Howard J. He has been an owner or partner is a number of different companies involved in appraisal, management, development, brokerage, syndication and ownership of commercial, industrial, hotel, and multi-family real estate. He is now primarily involved in acquisitions, development, and asset-management for related entities. Hilton Hotels named his hotel company, The Hotel Group the 2006 Multi-Brand Developer of the year.

He has 17 years in the real estate field with the last 10 focused in the area of commercial and investment properties. Along with managing the day-to-day activities at Porter Properties, he manages the division of the company responsible for development, acquisitions and management of condominium and multi-family properties.

With 22 years of experience in the real estate industry, he is responsible for overseeing the sales division of the company. He also assists with the oversight of other company functions, such as leasing, property management and development activities. He has a diverse background with regard to the Self Storage industry, including development and valuation services. Matt is an officer with the Lee County Association of REALTORS® and serves as a State Director for the Alabama Association of REALTORS®. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia and has resided in Lee County since 1997.

He is responsible for writing new leases, collection of monthly rents and other financial interests of property owners with management agreements with the company.


Vikki Manning Controller Phone:(334) 826-8682 Ext. 220 Fax:(334) 826-8602		Vikki is the company Controller responsible for all financial operations of the company. She is also the Director of Human Resources. Vikki has a BS in Accounting from Auburn University at Montgomery.


Allison Brooks Accounting Manager Phone:(334) 826-8682 Ext. 226 Fax: (334) 826-8602		Allison is the Accounting Manager for all of our properties. She oversees the accounts payable and receivable for all of our communities. She also manages the data entry for each of our managers.

She oversees all marketing and advertising efforts in addition to assisting the sales associates with all of their needs, such as listing presentations, closings, any promotions, open houses, etc. Teresa graduated from Auburn University in 2004 with a degree in Communications/Marketing.

She oversees the daily functions of each of our managers located in Auburn, Troy, Jacksonville, and Anniston, Alabama. She also manages the marketing, advertising, and collection efforts for all of our residential communities.

She oversees the leasing, management and collections for all of our communities in the Auburn/Opelika area. These properties include: houses, apartments, mobile homes and duplexes.
